AbbVie announced that it has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) and Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index (DJSI North America) for the 10th year in a row. The company also got the highest score in the biotech sector on the 2022 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).
The S&P Global CSA evaluates the sustainability practices of companies on an annual basis. The results of the CSA inform inclusion to the DJSI. By receiving the top score in the biotech sector and inclusion in the DJSI World and DJSI North America, AbbVie has shown its commitment to advancings its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).
