Capital One’s Blacks in Tech Business Resource Group helps create a space where Black technologists can connect and thrive.
Through the business resource group, associates at the company help empower each other and their communities through education, volunteering and leadership. Blacks in Tech aims “to create an inclusive environment and ensure that people of color who are in the technology field have a pathway to success at Capital One,” Devon, Senior Director of Cyber Intelligence, said.
Blacks in Tech has three main goals: cultivating an inclusive environment for a diverse population of tech associates, creating a strong community and providing development opportunities for Black associates.
Blacks in Tech also works closely with other business resource groups at Capital One, such as Hispanics in Tech, Women in Tech and Equality Allies.
