Comcast NBCUniversal Celebrates AAPI Heritage Month

Comcast NBCUniversal ranked No. 13 on the Top 50 Companies list in 2023.

 

Comcast NBCUniversal supports Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month by highlighting leaders, organizations and initiatives.

  • Xfinity is partnering with Gold House, a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing AAPI representation in the media, for content recommendations that support the Asian American editorial collection.
  • Comcast Newsmakers will spotlight leaders who are committed to uplifting AAPI communities, including John C. Yang of Asian Americans Advancing Justice (AAJC), Seema Agnani of the National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development (CAPACD) and Jeremy Tran of Gold House.
  • NBCUniversal will feature events and programming across its brands to honor and uplift the AAPI community through the “AAPI Amplified” campaign.
  • Comcast is investing in AAPI communities through Project UP, partnering with nonprofits such as Asian Counseling and Referral Services in Seattle, Association of Chinese Americans in Detroit, Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center, the Chinese American Service League of Greater Chicago and The Southeast Asian Mutual Assistance Associations Coalition of Greater Philadelphia.
  • Comcast supports content creators with Connection through Creation, featuring original artwork from Tori Shao, Ruhee Maknojia and Tiffany Chao across the company’s platforms.
