Marriott International has been named to Bloomberg’s 2023 Gender-Equality Index (GEI).
The GEI tracks the performance of companies and how they support gender equality through policy development and representation, as well as their level of transparency on these efforts and their progress.
The index measures gender equality across the following five pillars: leadership and talent pipeline; equal pay and gender pay parity; inclusive culture; anti-sexual harassment policies; and external brand.
“We are proud to be a member of the 2023 GEI, committed to driving accountability through data transparency,” wrote Marriott on LinkedIn.
Bloomberg’s Gender-Equality Index represents 45 countries and regions. Companies come from a variety of industries, including finance, technology and utilities.
