Marriott International hosted a panel on Mental Health Awareness at its headquarters in Bethesda, MD. The panel was part of Associate Appreciation Week.
The engaging conversation was led by CEO Anthony Capuano, Debbie Marriott Harrison, Global Cultural Ambassador Emeritus and mental health advocate Jeff Yabuki.
The panelists emphasized the significance of reducing the stigma surrounding mental health, promoting early detection of struggles with mental health and extending compassion to both individuals struggling with mental health and their potential caregivers.
Throughout Associate Appreciation Week, Marriott corporate offices and hotel associates worldwide enjoyed celebrations, activities, service projects, presentations and awards. These events acknowledged and expressed gratitude for the invaluable contributions made by associates and the company’s overall success.
