Accenture (ranked No. 1 on Fair360, formerly DiversityInc’s 2022 Top 50 Companies for Diversity list) announced that as of Sept. 1, Beck Bailey is the new Global Lead of Inclusion and Diversity. Reporting to Ellyn Shook, Accenture’s Chief Leadership and Human Resources Officer, Bailey will be responsible for ensuring all employees feel a sense of belonging at the company.
As an out transgender man, Bailey is an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and is passionate about creating safe and inclusive environments in the workplace. He co-chairs a committee for the Partnership for Global LGBTIQ+ Equality, serves on the Board of Directors for Reaching Out MBA and previously served on the Boards of GLBTQ Advocates & Defenders and the Promises Foundation.
Before joining Accenture, Beck was the Director of the Workplace Equality Program at the Human Rights Campaign and has 20 years of experience in operations and change management roles.
