Raytheon Technologies Employees Volunteer in Veteran Equine Therapy

Raytheon Technologies ranked No. 41 on The Fair360, formerly DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity list in 2022.

Employees at Raytheon Technologies volunteered at Ironstone Farm in Andover, Massachusetts, which offers equine therapy and other services for veterans, first responders, youth, cancer patients and survivors and people with memory issues.

Raytheon began financially supporting Ironstone Farm in 2015 and major volunteer contributions began in 2019.

Most recently, employees at Raytheon helped with renovations to turn the farmhouse into a retreat center where veterans and others can stay overnight or for multiple days.

“I feel connected to the veteran community and to my Raytheon colleagues who volunteer here, too,” said Lauren Hicks-Ogburn, a U.S. Army veteran currently serving in the Massachusetts National Guard and working for Raytheon Missiles & Defense. “What’s really cool about being at Ironstone is knowing that, when you show up every couple weeks, there are at least 20 other colleagues ready to do this for their community.”
