As part of Toyota’s team member spotlights during Black History Month, we’re excited to feature Belva Bell, Systems Integration Senior Analyst, Social Innovation and Communication Chair of our African American Collaborative (AAC) business partnering group (BPG).

She began her career with Toyota in 2017 as an education analyst within our Diversity and Inclusion team, where she supported and partnered with our BPGs in their growth across North America. Belva’s leadership and commitment to helping build our inclusive and innovative culture at Toyota and creating engaging opportunities for our team members continues to make an impact on our organization and communities.

“I couldn’t be prouder to work for such a giving company,” Bell said. “The possibilities are endless when it comes to how Toyota makes a positive impact in our communities — and that’s my favorite part about being a team member.”

This Black History Month, Belva shares her perspective on its meaning.

“Black History Month, for me, is a reminder that we can all achieve great things regardless of race or ethnicity. I’m inspired by those who came before me, and I’m thankful for the opportunities that come with living in a diverse and inclusive society.”
