At Monsanto, diversity and inclusion drive business results through two key focus areas. The first is using metrics to effectively communicate the importance of diversity. The second is creating a shared understanding of inclusion and driving that value throughout the entire organization.
The company ensures senior leaders are accountable for diversity through regularly updated dashboards. Monsanto reviews these dashboards with its board of directors twice a year, and with Grant, his direct reports, the HR leadership team and the executive diversity & inclusion council at regular meetings.
