Hall of Fame Companies
The Hall of Fame recognizes former No. 1 companies. Once recognized in the Hall of Fame, companies are not included in the Top 50 list in subsequent years. Hall of Fame companies must continue to submit a Top 50 survey and remain competitive with the Top 10.
2023 Top 50 Companies
The Top 50 Companies list evaluates companies based on six key areas of workplace fairness, providing a trusted measure of transparency, equitable outcomes for employees and the effectiveness of fairness strategies and practices.
Specialty Lists
These lists are based on a data-driven evaluation that does not adhere to a set number of companies on a list. They are evaluated on group performance, and the cutoff takes place where there is a significant difference between the top companies and the next runner up. As a result, there may be fewer than or more than 10 companies on a list.

High Potentials
The Top Companies for High Potentials category measures how effective companies are at identifying high potential employees. It’s measured by examining diverse representation of individuals identified as high potential, proportional representation of diverse groups among high potentials, percentage of high potentials promoted in the previous year, percentage of high potentials who have a mentor and/or sponsor, and practices related to high potential identification and program KPIs.

Top Companies for Executive Women
The Top Companies for Executive Women ranks organizations based on the hiring, promotion and representation of women at various levels. This assessment includes management levels 1 to 4 and the top 10% highest paid employees. It also evaluates the representation of women in mentoring, sponsorship and high-potential programs, alongside assessing the fairness of high potential programs and promotions within management. Additionally, the list considers the company’s commitment to fair hiring practices through inclusive interview panels and diverse candidate slates.
