We capitalized on the momentum built in 2021 to further embed DE&I, structurally and behaviorally, throughout the organization. Of the key priority categories in our employee engagement survey, DE&I had the highest engagement score. I am resolute in our organization’s ability to chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives while deepening our commitment to DE&I.

Sanofi U.S. launched programs that support underrepresented groups in a culture of continuous learning. “Gigs” use AI to match employees with opportunities and allow them to apply for short-term assignments with another function or department, locally and globally.
• Beginning in 2022, all U.S. employees are required to establish clear DE&I goals as part of their performance goals.
• We launched a Sanofi Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Board, an initiative that is a first amongst our pharmaceutical peers. It is not only composed of internal leaders, but also external advisors who have been pioneering the field for years: renowned thought-leader Rohini Anand Ph.D., award-winning social entrepreneur Caroline Casey, and Élisabeth Moreno, Former French Minister for Gender Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities.
• In January 2023, Sanofi launched A Million Conversations, a global effort to build a bridge of trust between medicine and diverse communities, seeking to improve engagement and health outcomes. Sanofi will create community events that will rebuild trust and provide support to those with concerns.
