“I’m very encouraged by the progress we’ve made to advance inclusion and diversity across all Honda business operations in North America. Inclusion isn’t a destination, but a journey of continuous learning, and I look forward to moving ahead on a path that helps Honda live our values in each and every area of our business. Our progress shows that when we support our commitment with deliberate action, we can advance diversity together with our communities to make each other stronger.”

“Honda was founded with a strong respect for people and the idea that every person should be afforded the opportunity to fulfill their life’s potential. The richness of different ideas, backgrounds and perspectives is what enables Honda to create value for our customers and the communities where we live and do business.”

From the Company

Honda remains committed to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion throughout our U.S. operations and the communities where we live and work as we embark upon our company’s “Second Founding.”

Honda’s “Second Founding” is a transformation, positioning us to achieve the goals critical to our long-term success. We believe that “Respect for the Individual” and our core values of dreams, joy, challenging spirit, passion and respect provide the foundation for realizing life’s potential for all.

Our efforts to improve workforce diversity, multicultural advertising, marketing, dealer networks, direct and indirect supplier diversity and corporate social responsibility are integral parts of Honda’s long-term sustainability goals. Together, we continue making progress toward these objectives in all aspects of our critical business areas. Women and ethnic minority representation in the total workforce and in leadership continue to trend in a positive direction, and Honda recently launched the Drive the Legacy initiative to further strengthen our 30+ year commitment to HBCUs. Overall, our efforts to reach diverse customers, dealers and suppliers have been successful.
