Agartha Larbi
Vice President, Global Corporate Responsibility

“Our diverse and inclusive team at Northrop Grumman is one of our greatest strengths. Understanding our people – what motivates, inspires, challenges and lifts them up – is how we create spaces where people can truly thrive. I’m proud of all the work we’re doing to create a strong culture of belonging.”

From the Company

Northrop Grumman is a leading global aerospace and defense technology company. Our pioneering solutions equip our customers with the capabilities they need to connect and protect the world and push the boundaries of human exploration across the universe. Driven by a shared purpose to solve our customers’ toughest problems, our 96,000 employees define possible every day.

At Northrop Grumman, our culture is based on the shared values and beliefs that our company is stronger and performs better when we embrace diversity, equity and inclusion. We have seen this demonstrated over the past decade. As the diversity of our team and the focus on equity and inclusion has strengthened, our company’s performance has continued to improve.

Some highlights of our accomplishments:

  • In 2023 Agartha Larbi was named Vice President, Global Corporate Responsibility, reporting directly to our CEO. Larbi is focused on fostering a culture of belonging, where everyone comes together to push the boundaries of what’s possible for our people, communities and customers.
  • In 2023 we moved to modern listening, grounded in a holistic understanding of employee experience and enabled by an industry-leading digital listening platform, Qualtrics EX. The five key performance indicators (KPIs) measured the engagement, inclusion, expectations, intent to stay and well-being of our team.
  • Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) continue to thrive and play a critical role in helping us build a sense of belonging. The ERGs, consisting of over 30,000 employees, provide active forums for important conversations to help build empathy and respect as we make progress as one team to embrace unity.
  • We are evolving our non-financial metrics to measure inclusion and belonging through the employee experience survey to further strengthen our culture. These metrics have visibility at the highest levels, including the Executive Leadership Team and the Board of Directors.
  • The required Diversity, Equity & Inclusion training – Embracing the Global Power of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging – launched in 2021 and is required for all employees and assigned to all new hires. This training provides new and helpful ways in which we can stand together and support one another.
