We aspire to build a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate and the customers we serve, and we work to ensure that our programs, recruitment and talent development initiatives align with this ambition.
In 2023, we launched our Commercial Talent Academy, aiming to grow a diverse range of talent for commercial leadership roles. The program prepares associates for sales leadership roles by providing networking, mentoring, learning courses and support from managers, HR and talent acquisition. We also offer diverse learning programs that help build diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) awareness, knowledge and skills, empowering associates to apply them in the workplace.
Additionally, we launched Engagement and Inclusion teams at U.S.-based manufacturing facilities in 2023. These employee-driven teams, led by member representatives, promote learning, cultural celebrations and activities to enhance interpersonal understanding and inclusion.
Our ERGs are vital business partners that help foster our inclusive workplace. In total, Ecolab has 11 different ERGs with local chapters spanning the globe. These groups grew by 15% in 2023.
