From The Company

Our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is central to our core values and mission. Throughout all parts of the business, from team members and franchisees to suppliers and guests, we believe diverse backgrounds, cultures, and experiences help drive our success. Diversity is not just about doing the right thing – it’s a responsibility for everyone.

Among just a few of our notable efforts:

  • We are helping change the face of hotel ownership, launching groundbreaking programs like Women Own the Room and BOLD By Wyndham, designed to advance and empower women and Black entrepreneurs. To date, we’ve awarded more than 50 hotel development agreements through these programs.
  • We are bringing greater diversity to our industry by prioritizing DE&I training focused on topics related to antiracism and allyship while incorporating strategic priorities that allow us to recruit from a more diverse pool of team members.
  • Our affinity business groups serve as fully inclusive networks where team members can actively engage with one another, fostering innovation and growing together as people and colleagues. Groups are sponsored by executive team members who serve as allies, mentors, and advocates.
  • We were the first hospitality company to partner with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), providing networking opportunities, resources and support for candidates across nearly 40 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
