Inclusive Diversity and Equity is one of Allstate’s core values and serves as a foundation of Our Shared Purpose. Allstate continues to look for ways to build awareness and drive action to be a differentiated leader in Inclusive Diversity and Equity.
In 2022, we hired over 340 diverse individuals into family sustaining jobs without a four-year degree, exceeding our annual goal by over 159%. We also conducted an audit of existing IDE education and launched new IDE education strategy with offerings to build intercultural competence and an inclusive culture, and established metrics to measure the impact of course offerings on employees and the business.
Finally, we implemented an Inclusive Diversity and Equity Talent Scorecard to drive leadership accountability and launched Allstate IDE A.C.T. Framework, integrating IDE strategy, goals, and collaboration across Allstate.
