In recognition of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, PPG shared tips to improve digital accessibility on the company’s LinkedIn.
“Helping to create a more inclusive workplace is part of our purpose in protecting and beautifying the world. In fact, we offer global training for our employees to share digital accessibility best practices and tools,” PPG wrote. “Let’s empower each other to reach our full potential and provide support to those with disabilities.”
The company shared the following four tips:
- Using live captioning during meetings
- Blur image backgrounds to reduce distractions
- Use live-translate text when sharing presentations
- Provide alt-text and check for color contrast
