BASF Grants $5,000 to High School STEAM Education Programs

BASF ranked No. 23 on the Fair360 Top 50 Companies for Diversity list in 2023.

BASF donated $1,000 to five high schools in Chattanooga, Tennessee to support science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) education programs.

The awarded high schools include:

  • Central High
  • Hamilton County Virtual School
  • STEM School Chattanooga
  • Tyner Academy
  • Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts

“We believe in the power of education and how it can shape the future,” said Brittany Davis, Operations Manager at BASF Chattanooga. “Being able to nurture a student’s passion for innovation is one of the best things about the work we do through TECH Academy and community support. If our investment could give us just one future engineer, welder, process technician or leader, then we will have considered our job a success.”
