Hilton Pledges to Hire 1,500 Refugees Across Europe

Hilton is a Fair360 Top 50 Hall of Fame company.

Hilton has pledged to hire an additional 1,500 refugees across Europe. The announcement was made at the Tent Foundation European Business Summit on World Refugee Day.

The initiative supports the company’s commitment to create 5 million global learning and career growth opportunities by 2030.

“Hilton was founded with the purpose to spread the light and warmth of hospitality — to be a beacon of hope and engine of opportunity. Part of this commitment is to create career pathways for all,” said Laura Fuentes, Chief Human Resources Officer at Hilton. “We are proud to continue our partnership with Tent to hire 1,500 refugees over the next three years at our hotels across Europe and embrace the contributions of this diverse and skilled talent pool among our workforces.”

Hilton became the first hospitality company to join the Tent Partnership for Refugees in 2018. The partnership supports efforts to create career pathways for underrepresented groups, including refugees, youth, minorities, people with disabilities, military veterans and their families.
