Northwell Health raised $1 million for women’s health research and programs at the fifth annual Summer Hamptons Evening (SHE) event.
The proceeds support the Katz Institute for Women’s Health. The institute believes all women, especially those in underserved communities, should receive the best individualized care and resources.
“We are building on the success of our ability to treat women differently by investing in research and clinical trials that will help us expand seamless, specialized cancer care and amplify a new standard of care for patients across Northwell,” said Stacey E. Rosen, MD, Senior Vice President of Women’s Health at the Katz Institute and the Partners Council Professor of Women’s Health. “We are continually looking for new and meaningful ways to improve the health of women.”
Dancer, choreographer and TV personality Paula Abdul performed at the event.
