Pratt & Whitney Shares Educational Efforts in India

RTX ranked No. 36 on the Fair360, formerly DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity list in 2023.

 

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX, formerly Raytheon Technologies business, shared how it invests in educational efforts in India.

The company awarded scholarships to 42 students from Sai Vidya Institute of Technology and Brindavan College of Engineering. The scholarships cover one year of college tuition for first-year engineering students and an informal employee mentoring program.

“Pratt & Whitney has always been committed to the society and actively supports students pursuing STEM programs. This initiative is just a step in the right direction, and we hope a lot of students will get to benefit from this program in the future as well,” said Venkata Subbaiah G, Assistant Manager, Global Supply Management.
