Raytheon Technologies Spotlights Its Asian Pacific Islander ERG

Raytheon Technologies ranked No. 36 on the Fair360, formerly DiversityInc Top 50 Companies list in 2023.

 

Raytheon Technologies has shared the initiatives and progress of RTX ASPIRES, its employee resource group (ERG) for Asian Pacific Islander employees.

RTX ASPIRES was officially launched one year ago, developing initiatives that enable Raytheon’s Asian Pacific Islander community to grow and belong.

The ERG’s key initiatives include the following, as listed by the company:

  • Growing the curriculum of the company’s Skills Enhancement and Employee Development program for Asian Pacific Islander employees.
  • Collaborating with community partners on volunteering opportunities and public policy engagements related to the Asian Pacific Islander community.
  • Providing members with opportunities for collaboration and networking, with one another and with senior leaders.
  • Promoting the diversity of Asian Pacific Islanders and providing a voice for equity and inclusion to make Raytheon Technologies an employer of choice.

“We’re trying to provide pathways for growth to all API employees, regardless of their background,” said Santosh Jois, Operations Chair at RTX ASPIRES. “This can help bridge gaps that affect their career progression.”
