Thasunda Brown Duckett, President and CEO of TIAA, commented on what it will take to reach gender parity in retirement, especially for Black and brown individuals.
Forty percent of households in America expect to run short of income in retirement. This is especially detrimental for women and diverse populations.
“For TIAA, part of our mission is to lead the fight for retirement security, and I invite you to join us,” said Duckett. “We are doing all we can to raise awareness, particularly for those who don’t have any access to the retirement system currently.
