On the Frontlines of Fairness: Jefferson Health’s JEDI Councils in Action

At Jefferson Health, fairness and inclusion aren’t limited to the workplace but also to patient and partner experience. 

Jefferson’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) strategic initiatives include five dimensions of focus:  

  1. Leadership and governance 
  2. Marketing and communications 
  3. People 
  4. Experience 
  5. External stakeholders 

Above all, Jefferson Health’s mission is to improve lives. The JEDI strategy supports this by fostering employee-led resource groups focused on the tactical aspects of the Blueprint strategy, said Brenda Snipes, VP of Diversity at Jefferson Health.
