In 2022, KeyBank continued our focus on impactful diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) programs throughout all parts of our business. Notably, we achieved our five-year public commitment to increase people of color representation in senior leadership roles – increasing representation by 36% in 18 months.
We continue to deliver better outcomes throughout our workforce, workplace and marketplace DE&I strategic pillars. Our 18,000 diverse teammates are our greatest strength, as they sustain our DE&I legacy while living our Key Values every day.
Additional 2022 highlights include:
- Public disclosure of our workforce demographics by publishing our KeyCorp EEO-1 Report
- 95% of teammates completed our “Bridging the Gap” DE&I training curriculum
- Achieved 12% spend with diverse suppliers, exceeding our 8% annual diverse spend target
- Invested over $30 billion in community commitments since 2017, including affordable housing, home and small business lending in underserved communities and transformative philanthropy.
