Toyota Motor North America has appointed Robert C. Davidson Jr., Domenika Lynch and Tammy S. Smith to its North American Diversity Advisory Board (DAB).
Davidson was Chairman and CEO of Surface Protection Industries, which grew to be the largest African-American-owned manufacturing company in California. Lynch is the Executive Director of the Aspen Institute Latinos and Society Program, which aims to promote empowerment and economic growth in Latino communities. Smith is a retired Army Major General, serving as the Military Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of the Army at the Pentagon.
Toyota’s DAB aims to improve the diversity and inclusiveness in workplace culture, implementing best practices and accountability company-wide.
